SHOUT

I walked with a determined step
my heart beating in an elevated rep
The wall looked inviting, drawing me in
my system urging me to commit this sin
I pull down my bridge, the torrent building
SIR! SIR! his voice cuts through the setting
the board pounces at me, dripping liquid vile
I look behind at the warm bright lit tile
I spear through inviting eyes, art stands
I ask politely , I reason , I shake hands
fumbling with the hook I tear inside, I let loose a sigh
deed done, wiped clean, I walk dry
no token to show my gratitude, no words in my mouth
I make it awkward, I head out
I did it for him, the man who dared to shout.
